# Seasons ### How It Works Dream DAO seasons last 6 months. Every new season is a chance to reflect. We conduct elections for new working group leads, reflect on what we have accomplished, and create new goals for the upcoming season. We onboard new Builders every season, in a cohort of \~30. ### Why We Created This Seasons give clear guidelines for the timeline DAOs operate in, including budgets, programming, etc. ### Learnings We had trouble deciding how to approach seasons when we created the DAO. We did not have a plan for when the first season was going to end, the estimated date changed multiple times.
